TIBET, Qīng Chinese authority. 1724-1913. Tanka (Silver, 28 mm, 4.76 g), 'Ga-den' type, circa 1907-1909. Ornate lotus set on single water line; around, the Eight Auspicious Symbols of Tibetan Buddhism (a parasol, a pair of fishes, a treasure vase, a lotus, a white-spiraling conch shell, an endless knot, a victory banner, and a golden wheel). Rev. Flower of eight petals; around, legend in eight oval frames. Kann 1422. KM (Y) F13.1. A very attractive and lightly toned example. Nearly extremely fine.
